Last month we brought The Big Bang Fair's Street Science roadshows to young people in Bromely and Croydon. Hot on the heels of these exciting shows, we are launching a brand new initiative featuring Professor Brian Cox, presenter of the hit BBC2 series 'Wonders of The Solar System'.
The good professor has teamed up with The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair to offer one lucky school the lesson of a lifetime - designed to inspire pupils and generate interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).School children enter their school to win on Facebook or The Big Bang website with the winning school being picked at random – the more entries per school the better chance that school has of winning!Brian is the perfect person to young people really excited about science. His infectious passion for the subject is backed up by deep knowledge (he works on the Hadron Collider at CERN) and he knows how to put on a good show!
